Nordic and alpine ski in an authentic environment

"Nordic" grounds in the South, alpine grounds in the North… With 7 runs dedicated to skiers and surfers at all levels, serviced by 5 mechanical lifts, the resort of Bleymard-Mont Lozère may boast of being the only alpine skiing resort in Lozère! And in an exceptional landscape on the UNESCO World Heritage list, in the heart of the National Park of Cévennes, a few ski poles away from the Pic du Finiels, the culminating point of Mont Lozère (1702 m).

Far from the tourist crowds, lovers of an authentic, untouched natural environment will go down the runs on hillsides planted with pine, fir and beech trees or leave on skis or snowshoes to discover the vast stretches of this“strange, bare mountain range, scattered with round granite boulders and punctuated with cool springs... “,to quote the English writer Robert Louis Stevenson. Long descents among the snowy fir trees and peaks, by way of cross-country hiking trails to admire the many facets of Mont Lozère and the sledding tracks, beginners and experts, children and adults, will find here the excitement and thrills to suit them. Onsite, in the three hotels of the resort or in the hostels of the village of Bleymard bordered by the Altier and Tarn Valleys, which the River Lot crosses, evenings by the fire contribute to the charm and the warm, family atmosphere of this resort between the blue sky and the white snow.

At the resort, ‘le Refuge’ is a hotel-restaurant open all year round which offers traditional cuisine with beautiful plates of preserved meats from Lozère,truffade, chestnutfondant, etc. Tel. 33 (0)4 66 48 62 83.
